Our eLearning Development Process
Step #1 – Needs Analysis
During our pre-need analysis, we determine everything you would like to accomplish with your project. Once we get the qualitative information from your project, our team assesses the data and develops a series of recommendations that will fit your time frame and budget. We’ll then provide you with a rough project proposal.
In this step, we need to ask questions regarding the project scope, the desired business goals, the course content, the course development process, and the course delivery. Alternatively, you can complete a submission for a quote request form.
Step #2 – Plan The Project
Now we will spend time with stakeholders of this project. When planning your eLearning project, we’ll conduct a kickoff meeting with your stakeholders to confirm the learning objectives of your course, agree upon a project plan, and draft a development timeline.
Also during this step, we will identify program objectives and constraints, including cultural boundaries, and identify the learner’s specific or general needs.
Step #3 – Instructional Design Documents
Once we have all the information, we will determine the delivery method based on the number of animation problems, scenarios, scenes, and etc. Also, we will decide how the course will be broken down; for example, modules versus sections.
Our instructional design process will also include easy navigation, targeted activities, engaging content, and performance support tools.
Step #4 – Draft Storyboard & Scripting
Once we have all the information we will determine the delivery method based on the number of animation problems, scenarios, scenes, etc.
Also, we’ll decide how the course will be broken down, for example, modules or sections. Our instructional design process we’ll also include, easy navigation, targeted activities, engaging content, and performance support tools.
Step #5 – Review
We now consolidate all content and review it with you. Once there is a final approval on the scripting for a scene or section, we move to the next step.
Step #6 – Develop Prototype
Once the stakeholder has approved the design, we will develop content on the screen; interactivities to be applied, colours, images and animations are all drafted.
During this stage, there is a lot of writing, rewriting, and revisions that are taking place. The draft document will be put on review with the customer.
During this development process, you get access to a client portal that lets you give feedback along the way. We will develop the full scenes into the final product for you.
Step #7 – Testing & Revisions
Customer trials will take place, seeking approvals of animations and interactivities, and the overall flow of the course. Depending on the needs of your organization, we may begin with a soft rollout of the curriculum to a focus test group.
Before this, stakeholders should review the developed modules and give feedback.
Step #8 – Integrate Into LMS
Once the project is complete, we’ll run through the technical implementation and ensure everything is functioning properly.
We offer hosting services, should you not have an existing LMS.
